Bearing-free encoders such as the GEL 247 handle precise traction control in working machines such as dump trucks and tractors. Particularly in challenging terrain, reliable speed detection is essential to ensure traction, driving stability, and operational safety at all times.

For use under extreme environmental conditions, the robust sensor housing can optionally be further reinforced. Fully encapsulated electronics provide additional resistance to coolants, oils, and moisture. When traveling at low speeds, maneuvering, and working under high load, electric motors must run reliably, smoothly, and efficiently - even during frequent direction changes and at low speeds. Precise torque control requires rotor position sensors that detect rotor position contactlessly and with high accuracy.
